Holiday Cookie Swap

Tis' the season for cookies! This is our annual cookie swap and it will be hosted by Crystal and Dave. Bring 3 dozen (1 dozen to share, 2 dozen to swap) of your favorite homemade cookies, with the recipe to share. The hosts will provide hot cocoa, wine and cider but please feel free to contribute some as well if you can. Please post the type of cookie you plan to bring when you RSVP - it is not set in stone though, of course.

The Cookie Meetup is at 4pm, but earlier in the day Crystal's East Cooper Walking group will be meeting at Magnolia Gardens for a walk around the Plantation. The plantation is offering a BOGO admission with canned goods. It will be wonderful to have a mixer of both meetup groups that day. Fee free to attend one or both events. The link to that meetup is below.

Thanks Loretta for posting this and organizing this group!

We are looking forward to seeing all of you!! We will also have the basics for cookie batter if anyone would like to bring ingredients to add.  I will be making my traditional Poppy Seed cookies and Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies, and also English Toffee if i can find a good recipe.

We will meet at Magnolia Plantation at 2:00, and after the walk will meet at our home between 3:30 or 4:00.  Join us for the walk, the Party or both!!

I already rsvp'd through my walking group that I'm coming but not doing the cookie swap, just bringing something else to supplement the goodies.

So hard to believe that Christmas is right around the corner.
The weather forecast is shining some love on Charleston with the temps in the high 70's!--
The cookie selection looks great!! If any of you are planning on the walk at Magnolia Gardens let us know so we can look for you. Many flowers still in bloom! Here is the link for November December

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
