Oops, I just changed the day from Easter.  Who knew?  Prepare a home made picnic style dish to share.  Come enjoy Springtime in Hampton Park (located on the Charleston peninsula).  Arrive early and stroll the garden or stay late and feed the waterfowl in the pond.  Come for the food and the camaraderie.

Well, I have my foot in a boot right now. For obvious reasons, I am unable to commit to being there tomorrow. I will see how my foot does during the day and then make a call. Can anyone tell me how long a walk it is from parking the car to reaching the picnic area? And where exactly is the picnic area?

It will be less than a block to walk. The picnic tables that we plan to use are located to the right of the lake, when looking from the parking lot. They are located under the grand oaks to the right of the pond.

perhaps a brazilian salad...there will be no place to heat food at the park unless you have a portable gas stove
