*Time: 7-8 pm
*Dates: 12 Tuesdays: Sep. 24, Oct 1, Oct 8, Oct 15, Oct 22, Oct 29, Nov 5, Nov 12, Nov 19, NO CLASS NOV 26 (Thanksgiving week), Dec 3, Dec 10, Dec 17
*This class is good for: People who have studied a little Italian already and who want to continue on, or who are rusty. It’s especially good for students who learn best by learning rules first, and then applying them. For students who learn better by speaking and not by traditional language study, check out the Divertente courses instead.
*Description of class: This class carries on from Enhanced Beginner’s 1. Each week will have vocabulary, dialogues, crosswords, phrases, and lessons. Topics covered include: using ci/ne/ne’ and quale/che and alcuni/qualche/un po’ di, conjugating in future tense, imperfect tense, passato prossimo, and trapassato prossimo; indirect and double object pronouns; days of week, calendar, telling time.
*Homework: You will be expected to memorize the vocabulary each week and to complete the exercises that are assigned.
*Price: $80 for 12 weeks ($70 for cardholders), due at the first class you attend by cash or check (note that checks will not be cashed until after the 2nd class, after you’ve decided that you want to continue).
*Materials needed before class starts: We will use the binder from Chuck “Comprehensive 2.” You will be sent a PDF before class starts, which you can print out before class each week. You’ll also receive an audio CD. You have the option of buying a binder already printed out (158 pages) for $50.
*NOTE ABOUT REGISTRATION: The minimum number of students for this class is 3. If fewer than 3 people sign up, this class will not go forward. Thanks for understanding. (Contact Erin about tutoring with Gian Paolo if you're interested in that option.)
