Because of some last-minute cancellations, there are now a few spots open for tonight's Mozzarella Making Workshop at Bacco at 5:30 so sign up and come join us! For $30 (plus $1 fee) you'll be guided by Chef Michael on how to make your own mozzarella ball, then you'll be served a delicious dinner with two glasses of wine. Don't miss it!
Remember that Monday and Tuesday Italian classes in Mt. Pleasant have been posted and will begin the first week of February, including Verb Drills 1, Beginner’s 1, Pronunciation, Divertente 2, and Reading & Comprehension. (If there is no interest in Verb Drills 1 soon, another class will be offered in its place.) Find a list with links to details here. Again, more will be scheduled soon, so keep an eye out.
We’ve got some social events coming up this February including the Wine tasting and Travel Talk on 20 Feb at Meredith’s house which will feature some great wines, some food, and some discussion (with a slide show, if you’re interested) of Italian travel. RSVP here. Before that, we’ve got the Potluck Dinner on Feb 9th at Corinne’s house in West Ashley; bring a dish and share some great food with your friends. RSVP here.
The Fundraising Dinner for the upcoming Italian Festival this past Friday was a lot of fun – food, entertainment, and door prizes (I happened to be a lucky winner this time!) – so make sure you don’t miss out on the next one, coming up Feb 22nd in Summerville. This is not an Il Tavolo event, but we’d like to support the festival as much as possible. Get more details here.
Finally, look for an addition to the schedule soon – a bocce ball tournament! It should be happening early March. I’ll post it when I’ve got details.
Have a great week!
