Meredith N. let me know about an upcoming bike tour in Italy this May and I wanted to pass the info on to y’all. This 9-day trip goes from May 13th-21st and tours the beautiful Romagna region of northern Italy. Get much more information here.
If you’re interested in this, let me know, and maybe a little group of Il Tavoloers can go together -Meredith for one said she’s up for it!
Teri will be hosting a party at her house on Sunday, March 2nd at 4 pm. Teri has such a lovely home and cute dog, and there’s never a shortage of delicious food and drink! Bring something to eat/drink to share and come join us for a fun Sunday afternoon party. RSVP here.
Tracy and I are working out details for a Gnocchi workshop at Bacco, most likely on March 23rd. Keep your eyes peeled!
The 2nd annual Italian Festival is fast approaching – it will be held April 26th in Azalea Park in Summerville – and before that, the Festa Italiana committee has organized a Golf Tournament Fundraiser on Saturday, March 29th. The price is $60 for each player, which includes a cart, lunch, and access to a special golf clinic by VIP Guest Sean “The Beast” Fister, who is a 3 time Hall of Fame long drive champion! The clinic will start at 11:30; tee time is 12 noon. Get info on how to register here on meetup or on the Lowcountry Festa Italiana site. This will be a lot of fun and will raise money for a great cause!
Some classes started this week and more will start next week – read more about what, when and where if you’re interested in joining in.
