I’m happy to announce that we have a new sponsor: Uncorked Wine Bar in Mt. Pleasant (soon to be renamed The Wine Bar) is now offering Il Tavolo members with membership cards (see below) 10% off their bill. This cute and cozy wine bar serves some food, too (they are revamping the menu now), and is located in the Belle Hall Shopping Center right by Amalfi’s. Check them out!
Have you considered getting an Il Tavolo membership card? They cost just $20 and are valid for a year. Perks:
Current sponsors include: Bacco (Mt. Pleasant), La Fontana (West Ashley), La Fontana (North Charleston), Amalfi’s (Mt. Pleasant), How Art Thou Café (James Island), King’s Pizzeria (Ladson), Joe Pasta (Downtown), and, of course, Uncorked (Mt. Pleasant). Check out the full list of sponsors and read more about the membership cards. If you’re interested in getting a membership card, email me at [address removed].
Teri will be hosting a party at her house on Sunday, March 2nd at 4 pm. Teri has such a lovely home and cute dog, and there’s never a shortage of delicious food and drink! Bring something to eat/drink to share and come join us for a fun Sunday afternoon party. RSVP here.
Tracy and I are working out details for a Gnocchi workshop at Bacco, most likely on March 23rd. Keep your eyes peeled!
The 2nd annual Italian Festival is fast approaching – it will be held April 26th in Azalea Park in Summerville – and before that, the Festa Italiana committee has organized a Golf Tournament Fundraiser on Saturday, March 29th. The price is $60 for each player, which includes a cart, lunch, and access to a special golf clinic by VIP Guest Sean “The Beast” Fister, who is a 3 time Hall of Fame long drive champion! The clinic will start at 11:30; tee time is 12 noon. Get info on how to register here on meetup or on the Lowcountry Festa Italiana site. This will be a lot of fun and will raise money for a great cause!
More meetups coming soon!
