Stono River from Sol Leguare on James Island to Sandy Point on Kiawah

Depart Sea Kayak Carolina promptly at 1130 am - destination Battery Island Landing, on James Island. Ride the ebb tide down the mighty Stono River to Sandy Point on Kiawah Island.

Low tide around 2:00 pm. Approximate time back at the Battery Island landing and driving home by 5:00 pm.

Free to paddle if you have your own sea kayak. Kayaks are available for rent at Sea Kayak Carolina for only $30. You must contact the shop at[masked] if you wish to reserve a rental kayak.

Lifejackets must be worn properly fitted and zipped up. Please dress appropriately - no cotton! This is a Meetup paddle -- all paddlers are paddling at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety.
