Lets paddle Rantowles Creek in the other direction. We will follow the tide out to the Stono River and take a break on the beach. Then we'll follow the tide back to Bulow Landing. This is a fun paddle in a fairly protected creek. Here's the plan:
10:00 a.m. Meet at Sea Kayak Carolina
11:30 a.m. Launch from Bulow Landing
2:30 p.m. Approximate time back at the landing
* Low Tide 1:00 p.m. *
This is a Meetup paddle -- all kayakers are paddling at their own risk and responsible for their own safety. Lifejackets must be worn, properly fitted and zipped up.
Air and water temperatures have cooled down -- please remember that cotton clothing has no place on the water in these cooler temperatures. Please wear appropriate synthetic clothing. If you have questions about cold water dress please email me.
Free to paddle with your own kayak.
A limited number of kayaks may available for rent from Sea Kayak Carolina -- only $30 for Meetup members. If you need a rental kayak please reserve on-line here or call Sea Kayak Carolina at[masked]-7969.
Winter paddling can be a lot of fun and look forward to seeing you all on the water.
