Monday on the Harbor!

Wind from the weekend is forecast to calm down on Monday... join Dawn S for a harbor paddle.  Visit aids to navigation, cross ship channels and conduct speed/time/distance calculation with an informal navigation component to this fun paddle.

Launch Sunrise Park on James Island approximately 12:00 noon.

First time on the Harbor for me. Was spectacular, dolphins, osprey and BIG boats. I learned a great deal. Dawn, great job keeping Don and Sue under control. Thanks for the invite.

Spectacular day with just the right amount of conditions. Thanks Dawn for setting this up and working through the navigation exercises. Apparently you can teach an old dogfish new tricks.

    Are you going near Sumter?

Tim - Most likely heading across the harbor and up the Cooper... not to Fort Sumter. Watch for a Meetup paddle to Sumter in the future, though!
