Foundation Skills to Kayak Rolling!

Join Sea Kayak Carolina's experienced instructors for 2 hours on a local pond... Learn and develop building blocks to the kayak roll.  Students will learn and perfect the wet exit, and find a "happy place" under the kayak!  Learn to use the lower body to control boat edge and right the kayak with the "Eskimo Rescue".

These skills stand alone to improve your kayaking.  They are also fundamental for learning to roll a kayak.

Kayak and gear included in the tuition if needed.  Only $35 for Meetup members - please call Sea Kayak Carolina at[masked] to register.

I had planned to be there, but was told twice yesterday that that the class was canceled. Maybe next time.

Sue--I already have a very very irregular and inconsistent roll (I think I've done it 4 times in my boat and twice in one of SKC's rental glass greenland boats), and familiarity with both sides of the Eskimo rescue, wet exit, etc. Should I switch to the Foundations 2 class?

Hi Meredith, it sounds like you have the foundational skills and go directly to the second class. Hope to see you there. Call the shop to sign up.

Ok, sounds good. I'll call the shop and ask them to switch me from this one to the second class.
