Launch from the back (protected) side of Sullivans Island, paddle to the harbor entrance (or Breach inlet, depending on the wind), paddle up (or down) the front of Sullivans in the ocean, then back behind for a quiet landing.
Current forecast is for 2-3 foot waves and 10 knots of wind in the ocean. Please only come if you have some ocean experience in similar conditions. Call me if you have questions about your ability to do this paddle. Your boat must be 14' or longer in order to keep up with the group and you must wear a skirt to keep the waves out of your cockpit.
We'll do this in the evening - which means it may be calm and serene, or may be threatening storms. So watch this space for updates!
This is a MeetUp and you are responsible for your own safety. However PFD's must be fitted properly and worn at all times.
