Sparkleberry Swamp

OK swamp people.  This is our trip.  Sparkleberry needs no explanation or introductions.  We'll meet at the landing by 10:00 AM and paddle away when ready.  The loop I'm doing is roughly 10-12 miles so I'm limiting the trip to touring boats.  You don't want to get left behind in Sparkleberry!  Rental boats are available for this trip.  Contact me via e-mail or by phone if you need gear.

This is a Meetup trip so you are responsible for your own gear and safety.  A properly fitted PFD is required to be worn at all times on the water.  Bring snacks, water and spare dry clothes.  The weather should be nice but you need to plan for possible weather changes this time of year.

This was a great paddle. The weather was perfect, the group was awesome and the scenery was unbelievable.

Perfect weather and some good wildlife activity. Our rout back was thwarted by the low water level and we had to back track a pretty good distance but it was a good adventure.

This is our last chance to visit Sparkleberry for a while. Duck season starts Saturday.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
