Upper Rantowles Creek Exploration

We haven't been over to explore the old rice fields of upper Rantowles Creek lately so lets go! This is a great trip for beginners and a beautiful place to paddle. Expect a two to three hour leisurely paddle as we check out the waterways and old rice patties.

Here's the plan:

Depart Sea Kayak Carolina promptly at 10 a.m.

Plan to launch at Bulow landing at 10:30 to 11 a.m.

Back at the landing by 2 p.m. at the latest

This is a fun, easy, relaxing paddle and we hope to see you there.

Free to paddle with your own kayak.

Sea Kayak Carolina will have rental kayaks available for $30. However, you must call the shop at[masked] to reserve one.

Check here for the latest weather forecast for the area.

It a great quiet paddle. I love the marsh stuff and I'll be going there again for sure.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
