Play at the Breach

I have most Sundays off from the shop over the winter and want to take advantage of that to paddle in one of my favorite places.

I am scheduling several Sunday Morning paddle sessions at Breach Inlet (between Sullivans Island and Isle of Palm) to see if anyone is interested in joining me.

What we do will depend on the conditions.  I hope to surf, play in some clapotis, and to keep my roll and rescues from getting too rusty.  Please only come if you can handle the conditions - and feel free to call me or the shop if you have questions about that.

Meet at the ocean access on the corner of Station 30 and Marshall Blvd on Sullivans Island at 10 a.m. and we will make our plan together.

This is a MeetUp and you are responsible for your own safety.  However PFD's must be fitted properly and worn at all times.  Helmets are strongly recommended.  Dress for Immersion!!

I will not be able to transport any rental boats, but call Sea Kayak Carolina [masked]) if you would like to rent one and are able to transport it yourself.

National Weather Service Forecast here.

Coastal Waters Forecast here.

Call me if you have any questions.

I'm still recovering from a sinus infection that has now seems to have moved in to my chest. I've been up all night coughing. I'm not sure the cold water will be the best thing for it. But, I'm going to try to show up to scope it out nonetheless.

Hi Sue, looked at coastal forecast for Sunday - N Winds 15 to 20 knots, 3-4ft waves. Too much of a workout for me!

Looking very windy in the morning Sunday. I'll be there to check it out, but we may decide it just wouldn't be fun.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
