Beautiful sunny day, quiet water, no serious motorboats running us down in area that is usually very heavily trafficked. Enjoyed meeting newcomers and introducing them to fun outdoor activity. Our Sierra Club guides were well versed in history of area, knowledgeable about birds and marsh plants, and gave helpful safety tips on how to paddle through the busy harbor area.

I'm sorry for canceling, but 50 degrees is just too cold for me. See you next time.

Bring drinking water (ideally in a refillable bottle), sunscreen, and a jacket as it may be cool for morning tours. Avoid cotton and other heavy clothing.

Be sure to call to reserve your spot if you have not done so already. They need to make sure they have the right kayaks ready at the right times. Call[masked] to reserve

Just a note: the $40 tour fee covers the cost of kayak, paddle, and life vest rental. You'd just need to bring sunscreen, water, and a hat.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
