'VICTORIAN VALENTINE'

23 RSVP SO FAR - VERY GOOD!

Sorry - THIS MONTHLY HIGH TEA AFFAIR IS FOR LADIES ONLY! 'The Chef's Table' & the 'Victorian Railroad Ladies' Meetup decided to collaborate with monthly high tea events! Such 'Victorian High Tea Society' potluck events are free of charge, and are always taking place the last Sunday of each month in a private and cozy atmosphere.

We are extremely happy to announce that we will also have a very special guest of honor, and together we will enjoy sipping hot tea from authentic Victorian tea cups along with our rather healthy choice of winter potluck foods (to be kind to our Victorian Railroad Ladies' figure).

MEMBERSHIP BENEFIT:

This month's gathering will offer another golden opportunity for you and the ladies to establish sisterly bonding opportunities for many years to come.

NEW YEAR TOPIC:

Walking through the park 4 health.

POTLUCK:

Please inform us of your choice of potluck dish to avoid ending up with 20 cookie plates. We recommend tasty finger sandwiches with delicious spreads; veggie/cream cheese finger sandwiches; delicious fruit scones; pretty stuffed cookies; pretty decorated puddings; pretty little shrimp cocktails; pretty decorated mini cakes; nice salads, or, maybe go online and check out some of the high tea recipes.

We will serve hot tea
And we will serve delicious home-made Dutch hot chocolate, yummm

MEETUP RSVP:

Sorry, nobody is allowed to just drop in!
Seating is limited.
RSVP (and guest registration) is required to reserve a seat.

DRESS CODE:

Pretty Sunday high tea attire required
(No T-shirts & jeans)
Hats are welcome to make you shine on our tea pictures on the 'Victorian Railroad Ladies' Meetup website, and on the 'Las Vegas Railroad Society' website, with a nice group picture.

FREE CLASSES: We also offer monthly free 'Victorian Hat Decorating Classes' and free 'Victorian Gowns Sewing Classes' in-between our high tea.

HIGH TEA CANCELLATION ETHICS: To protect your special Meetup membership, please respect Meetup cancellation deadlines with all our 'Victorian Railroad Ladies' activities and high tea activities and inform us at the very latest one day before events, should you change your mind not to attend. Thank you.

THE 'LAS VEGAS RAILROAD SOCIETY' MISSION:

Both, our railroad ladies and high tea ladies, who have signed up on the 'Victorian Railroad Ladies' Meetup website as members, are officially 'Las Vegas Railroad Society' supporters.

MISSION: Part of our caring-heart mission includes offering a helping hand to local special-needs children; and it is our 501 c3 charitable organizations educational mission to preserve and bring to life Las Vegas' fascinating railroad history and cultural heritage by using the medium of operating trains.

Our interactive museum exhibits and workshops will offer year-round hands-on learning for local studens of all age groups. Fun reenactment of historical events will provide enjoyment and education to all.

NOTE**** Our 'Victorian Railroad Ladies' are extremely excited, that this also includes the fascinating fashion history of the Gilded Age.

THANK YOU:

Our High Tea members, who also registered on our 'Victorian Railroad Ladies' Meetup website are caring mission driven movers & shakers, understanding and appreciating the concept of 'giving back to the community' and demonstrating 'community support' for a noble cause.

Thank you kindly ladies on behalf of 400,000 children in our local schools, and all special needs children group's children, who will one day soon benefit from 40+ year-round active educational program activities. www.LasVegasRailroadSociety.org

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL LADIES WHO SAID SO MANY KIND-HEARTED COMPLIMENTS TO ME ABOUT THE TEA - I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART........ IT WAS YOU LADIES WHO MADE THIS TEA AS SUCCESSFUL AS IT WAS!!!

Your food was delicious, and each one of you is ever so special in your very own way! And I thank Vernalisa for sharing you at our wonderful high tea events on behalf of our very important educational mission. Today's monthly Victorian hat decorating class was once again a success, pictures in this link: http://www.meetup.com/Las-Vegas-Victorian-Railroad-Ladies/photos/

Shortly we are including Victorian gowns sewing classes. Eventually, each one of our Victorian Railroad Ladies will have to get used to it that media and the public will take a lot of pictures of them in the not so distant future.

Thank you again, and a big hug to all!!!!!
