Embracing Constraints

This month, guest speaker Dan Rosanova will be looking at constraints. Not the "theory of constraints" we're used to, but how to foster creativity and focus your Agile development by actually embracing your constraints. We'll look at such topics as

  • How to qualify and categorize constraints;
  • How to turn constraints into a competitive advantage;
  • How to evaluate and balance competing constraints;
  • and wherever else the conversation takes us.

About our guest speaker: Dan Rosanova is a senior architect and Agile enthusiast at West Monroe Partners in Chicago. A four-time Microsoft MVP, Dan is a Microsoft BizTalk expert and crafts solutions utilizing BizTalk, SQL Server, SharePoint Server, ASP.NET, Windows Server, and Visual Studio. Dan’s distinctive skills include domain-driven design, test-driven development, continuous integration, and design patterns with a focus on concurrent highly available architectures.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
