Announcing a new Meetup for The Chicago Area Asatru Discussion Group!

What: Sunday Lunch - Historical and Legendary People from Our Past

When: Sunday, January 16,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Lincoln Restaurant
4008 N Lincoln Ave
Chicago, IL 60618

While others will be celebrating a public figure on Monday, we will honor our cultural heroes and heroines on Sunday. The theme for this lunch will be men and women from the past whom we admire, be they historical or legendary.

The Lincoln Restaurant is an old style diner with a Civil War theme. Portions are huge and inexpensive. The average meal will cost from $10 - $15. The restaurant is conveniently located at the corner of Irving Park, Damen, and Lincoln, and so is accessible from those three bus routes, in addition to the Irving Park stop of the Brown line. There is free parking in the back (to the west). The Lincoln Restaurant is known for hosting off-the-beaten-track groups. The restaurant does not take reservations, so please be prompt.
