Kid's Cooking Class with a WAPF twist!
Research shows that kids are more likely to eat healthy foods when they take part in cooking those foods. Here's an opportunity for your 5 year old and up to stir up something healthy while having fun and learning about how nutritious food contributes to their health.
Nicole Ainsworth, Registered Dietitian, mother and food entrepreneur will lead the class, engaging your child in dialogue, encouraging their participation and recognizing their efforts. Parents will leave with recipes, nutrition tips and possibly a new little helper for their kitchen back home!
Minimum of one adult must be present for ages 5 -7.
Parents are welcome and encouraged to stay and observe.
**This event is not recommended for those with severe food allergies.
Questions regarding the class, contact Nicole at [masked].
Refunds are not offered for this Meetup.
I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
