3rd annual Soil Sisters Open Farm Tour

3rd annual Soil Sisters Open Farm Tour

Rain or shine. The tour is based in Green County, WI, about 100 miles from the Northwest Suburbs... a straight shot up the Northwest Tollway and then west on US 11 at Janesville to hook up with the tour route near Brodhead, WI.

The members of the Soil Sisters are women who own and operate their agricultural enterprises. WAPF members will find kid-oriented activities at each farm and an opportunity to purchase local farm meats, eggs, and produce totally as fresh from the field as it can get!

Here is a link to the website for more information.

This year's activities are still in the planning stage and the website will be updated as plans are finalized. Save the date and allow plenty of time to tour the beautiful countryside in the driftless region of south west Wisconsin along the way.

One of the thoughts is to arrange for a bus to transport interested groups or families from Chicago, Madison, and Milwaukee.
