Healing with Foods: Overview of the GAPS Protocol

GAPSor Gut and Psychology/Physiology Syndrome, created by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, establishes the connection between the health of the digestive system and the functioning of the brain and other body systems. The GAPS Protocol "heals and seals" the intestinal tract and supports our body's natural immune and detoxification systems, leading to recovery from chronic illnesses such as autoimmune issues, autism, asthma/allergies, eating disorders, inflammatory bowel diseases, substance abuse, schizophrenia, and more.

The GAPS diet follows the key principles of Weston A. Price, but the Weston A. Price diet is not always GAPS legal. Individuals may initially need the GAPS healing protocol to overcome chronic health issues and then maintain abundant health long term by following the traditional Weston A. Price guidelines. Come and understand the basic premise behind the GAPS healing protocol which includes three main aspects: diet, supplementation, and lifestyle.

This discussion will be lead by Renee Renz and Edie Brennan, both Certified GAPS Practitioners.

I'm getting ready to start GAPS for the second time. Hopefully I will succeed this time. I'm so excited to join this group of people and feeling understood what I go through my health issues. I have so much faith that GAPS will be my answer as everything that I read about it makes so much sense.

Thank you so much Renee! Yes, I'm ready and prepared to do what I have to in order to succeed. There's really no option and 'm just grateful that I found this help by pure chance.
