Special Dinner at PL8 Restaurant Featuring Barrington Natural Farms Pig!
Sharing the same fiery excitement for farm to table cuisine, Chef Sean Grady from PL8 and the owners and operators, Cliff McConville and Konda Dees, from Barrington Natural Farms have come together to create an exceptional dinner event. Spending hours at the small-acreage, sustainable and biodynamic family farm, Grady was able to select the perfect Berkshire pig and create a complete Asian menu around scrumptious pork. The five-course dinner, using Asian flavors and cooking techniques, will be paired with Italian wines from Winebow/Vintage Wines, blending the two culinary cultures for a not-to-be-missed evening for pork lovers and wine enthusiasts alike. A meal merging Asian and Italian ingredients dates back to Marco Pollo and the creation of the noodle and now thousands of years later, guests can experience a similar meal at this event. Two guest speakers will be present at the dinner including Sergio Valsecchi, an Italian Wine Expert to present each pairing, along with Cliff McConville from Barrington Natural Farms to talk about pasture-raised pork and answer any questions about the farm.assed Appetizers
