Its in motion as we speak and I'm at the " Assembly Level". The same chipsets used for Bit(ANY)Coin mining can be utilized for SDR/SDN. Hence why ... I 'm exhausted. I'm trying to finish with my SDR then I'll go from there :) We should talk, You platform looks nice.

webmoney is a mute point in Russia. Russian government made Bitcoin illegal so that they can keep their hand in the huge money laundering operations. Bitcoin is, after all, nearly anonymous and it allows people to transfer huge amounts of money overseas, which is one of the main concerns in Russia currently.

    February 11, 2014

    • Gil V.

Eastern Europe and Russia is where most hackers reside and are protected on many levels. They are prone to attack Western interests and consumers, no surprise that they want hacking and stealing away from their own citizenry as they would be attacking their own. Bitcoin Is Now Illegal In Russia Too

Russia sends a message to Bitcoin its illegal in Russia and is used to launder money: http://www.medianama.com/2014/02/223-bitcoin-illegal-russia/ But my opinion is that Russia did this because it threatened their # 1 position as a Digital Currency for the longest: Webmoney. So it makes sense to me why they did this. Yet it is picking up steam to make BitCoin Illegal:

You may now purchase tickets for the "Open Bar!"

Please visit http://chicagomint.com/events/1 to buy a drink ticket!

Admission is free, however, buying a ticket will give you access to the "Open Bar." And it will help persuade Big Bricks to accept Bitcoin. If you don't buy a ticket for the "Open Bar" with BTC, you will still be able to buy drinks via traditional methods, like cash or credit card (booo!).

I'm looking forward to seeing you all there!

    2. Bit(Any)Coin Cloud Hashing Services

Solomon, I can do all 3 items I've listed above, but it is still unclear as to what is legit/what isn't within the USA, especially considering it is in fact against the BSA to hide the source of $ within the USA, and all " Exchanges of Currency " within the USA, must be reported: " .... any exchange operating in the U.S. is obligated to employ someone whose job description is to look for money laundering. Joe S., Per the Poll that was created:

" What should be group policy about altcoins? "

    My answer:

" We need to know news in crypto world to not been left behind.Let everybody present about it. "

Why did I answer as such?

Because it has become that more serious as of 7 hours ago:

Feds charge Bitcoin start-up founder with money laundering. By Timothy B. Lee January 27 at 12:59 pm

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-switch/wp/2014/01/27/feds-charge-bitcoin-start-up-founder-with-money-laundering/

You should read the comments, and be aware of this fact:

If someone sends you a Bit(Any)Coin, or purchases one from you, you have ZERO protection if the " Other Party " is a Fed, or whoever, where they can allege, "Yes I purchased, or Sold, that Bit(ANY)Coin with Illegally obtained whatever ", whoever they did the transaction with is subject to the Government.

Look before you leap THROUGH your attorney first!

    January 27, 2014

    • Michael

The entire point of an AML and CIP policy is for a compliance attorney to keep your business on the right side of the law. I never disagreed with you on the point of an attorney, and it should go without saying that *any* AML policy is vetted with the appropriate attorney expert. I tried to add some clarifying comments for the less informed because I felt your comments came off a little aggressive and were difficult to understand for someone without any compliance knowledge.

      January 28, 2014

    • Michael

I also thought your comments implied users can't use bitcoin because someday they might receive an illicit bitcoin and go to jail. Maybe I misunderstood your comments. While it is impossible to eliminate all risk, I wanted to point out that individuals are not at much risk with everyday bitcoin activities if they accidentally and unknowing receive an illicit bitcoin. So, if you have knowledge that someone is involved in illicit activity or drug buys/sells, don't accept bitcoin from them. That could get you in trouble as posted above. The government considers any drug activity (buys/sells) to be illicit, so it's a good thing to stay away from. However, there is no reason to have an irrational fear of using a bitcoin because some bitcoins are used for illegal activities. Use common sense for personal bitcoin use! Finally, if you are operating a bitcoin business, please heed the advice above and get an attorney. You do actually need one.

      January 28, 2014

  • Martin O.

For anyone who doesn't believe this is getting serious, the following is a entity monitoring Bit(ANY)Coin activities:

Welcome to the online home of the Bitcoin Police.

We're the Internet's very own investigators and are focused on exposing fraudsters and scammers in the Bitcoin community through community support and technical investigation.

We follow a strict mission statement and strive to be as transparent as possible. We're a community run organization and rely upon the community for support.

If you wish to join us, please visit the members page. If you have any information about one of our open cases or have a website to report, please go to the reports page.

    https://web.archive.org/web/20130323002519/http://bitcoinpolice.org/index.php

    January 27, 2014

    • Nick S.

They've been around for a long time and much of their 'activity' is a joke. Don't let the name fool you, they have no real authority and many people who watch for suspicious activity don't participate with these 'police'.

      January 28, 2014

    • Martin O.

Nick, since 2012, and, per them, they do have " Open Investigations ". None of this is meant to scare anyone, but rather, keeping people FULLY informed.
