The CloudCamp 'unconference' in November will focus on using the cloud for good.
Sick of the FUD? Fear, uncertainty, and doubt are the cheap shots of marketing. (This is not Thanksgiving Day - this year Thanksgiving is on Nov 28th!) Registration is coming soon via Eventbrite: http://cloudcampchicago.eventbrite.com/
Technology should not market FUD but offer solutions. The cloud is full of FUD, but is it full of possibilities too? Come listen to cloud pros present 5 minute Lightning Talks on how they fight FUD, the good vs. bad FUD, and what a cloud without FUD might look like someday.
As always, the unconference provides vendor-neutral and unbiased opinions. As a community, we try to answer questions and discuss issues in a fun and educational way. The events are both educational and an opportunity to network with fellow cloud users.
We keep vendor sales pitches to a minimum by giving the audience 'red cards' - if you don't like what the speakers are saying send them off!
