WHY THIS GROUP WAS FORMED:

I thought getting together, meeting new people and having some fun was just what I needed to cut loose. I figured that having the group on a site like meetup could most effectively encourage more interesting fun people to join up. I took the plunge and paid for the membership!

While we will be participating in the events specific to the categories for this group, it's more about the camaraderie I hope you'll find to exist between the members of the group.

In my personal life I tend to "collect" interesting people--some who might be considered a bit off kilter. LOL

I like visiting new places--particularly trying out new cuisines, cultures, fun events and hobbies that I haven't had much exposure to before.

I have always had a very diverse friend base. The things they do have in common is that they are generally very smart, with a somewhat sarcastic wit, and a generally playful spirit.

I hope this group holds your interest and that you meet new and interesting people--some of which you make lasting friendships with.
