Let's go to a talk on "Outspoken Atheists: Help or Hindrance."

Dan Barker, co-president of the Freedom from Religion Foundation and co-host of Freethought Radio, returns September 16th to the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago in Skokie. He will speak on “Outspoken Atheists: Help or Hindrance to the Secular Movement?” Noting that atheist writers Dawkins and Harris are accused of being overcritical of religion, Barker will argue, “The one who pulls up weeds is just as much a gardener as the one who plants the seeds.” He’ll also delight us with his own piano compositions.

Please join us for Coffee Hour after the talk.

I'll try to remember to bring some of Barker's recordings to the August meeting.

I feel on the subject of atheism, Dan Barker succeeds as speaker, writer, debater and entertainer!
