Q: "up to ch 7" - does this mean through ch 6, or also read 7? (I'm actually asking for clarity - I hope this isn't a sign)

Worry not, Rick, about any "sign" here.
My impression of above prepositions is that "up to" and "until" are alike in meaning but differ from "through."

General concerns about unclear, confusing, or even misleading signs is, however, warranted, for:
"Signitive consciousness is founded on impressions that can be totally unlike those given by the object." Nevertheless, even though my text's pagination differs from those above, it signitively intends the same first chunk of Husserl's LI through meaningful impressions I have of it (and, obviously, Edmund's work in general).

My pagination is also different, but after Poe pointed out the obvious, I clicked on the link provided - which has the table of contents - and noted that pg 74 ends ch 6. I can now safely maintain correctness without seeking any clarity.

I've always found Husserl difficult, but I think I've found a way to make him easier - read Hegel first.

I'm looking forward to this series. I think this will open up A LOT that came after - but of course we always say that about everything.
