Wittgenstein Workshop - "Language is a labyrinth of paths."

We will continue our very slow, very cooperative stab at Wittgenstein's Philosophical Investigations - one of the densest, most idiosyncratic, and most rewarding philosophical texts ever composed. This time we will be starting at Remark 201. No prior reading or background is expected.

In this part of the book, Wittgenstein begins zeroing in on the public nature of language, a topic which will eventually culminate in his famous considerations against the possibility of private mental contents.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
