On the one hand we had astounding turn out. Many new faces turned up for our dance classes and ball. This in spite of the fact that the ball said 8 to 10, and the auction going over gave us only an hour.
Craig Shupee introduced 2 Playford 1st edition pieces (If all the world were paper, & Hit or Misse)

Would have expected more period music from the person running the ball, but time was short and he went for what was easy.

My experience at my first "event" truly exceeded my expectations! The venue was amazing, the activities were engaging, but most of all -- the PEOPLE were AWESOME! I didn't realize what the "feast ware' was and didn't bring any -- but the people I sat with shared their plates and utensils with me I got extremely useful tips on how to make my garb more dancer-friendly from two master seamstresses, and shared many smiles with the friendly folk who made me feel very welcome.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
