English Country Dancing at Fermilab

English country dancing is held at Fermilab's Kuhn Village Barn one Sunday afternoon a month. When possible we enjoy live music by Old Fezziwig's Band, otherwise we dance to fine recorded music. The dances are fully taught and walked through and the dancing is very accessible. Newcomers are always welcome. Dancing begins at 2 p.m. for all, and an advanced session for well-experienced dancers is held from 1 to 2 p.m. The afternoon often ends around 5:30 p.m. with a potluck. For the next few months, we are meeting the first Sunday of the month, but the schedule does vary. To get on an email list for regular announcements about the group, contact Mady at[masked] or email [masked]. The web link for general information about dancing at Fermilab is

For our SCA regulars just a reminder. This is not an SCA group and will be running Playford 1st edition up to modern English country.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
