Our weekly-ish Practice, please come to learn period dance and footwork. Dance practice this week will take place in the Ida Noyes library/lounge. This room is on the first floor; take a left when you come in the building, past the stairs, go up the carpeted ramp, and you're there.

Grazie to the wonderfully patient instructors who are helping me learn the steps and routines! I'm having a blast!

Anita, Chuck, Chris, Mary Jo, Sharon, Spencer, and I, had fun dancing in the library at Ida Noyes. We covered Petite Vriens, Rufty Tufty, Hearts Ease, Black Alman, Gelosia, Black Nag, and Ballo De Fiore.

To any or all dancers who have digital cameras. Please bring them. We can post pictures for this dance. We will screen for embarrassing shots.

Parking at Ida Noyes, is like a 1930's movie that has a bank heist. That is to say, street parking is really good, and non permit.

What's the story on parking near Ida Noyes Hall?

Our next scheduled dance after tomorrow is 3/11 or 2 weeks from tomorrow. Will that work for you?

Looks like we are nearing 8 people! We may get to run through some 6 person dances like Jenny Pluck Pears and Whirlygig. Perhaps even 8 persons like Heralds in Love and Hyde Park.

Just a reminder. Our usual spot has been nabbed by Pirates. We're working to find a alternate spot and should have this resolved by the day out reminder. Stay tuned.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
