The Chicago Women's Book Club Pages

Our goal is to create an atmosphere where interesting women can come together to talk about interesting books and perhaps form friendships at the same time. We hope for an ongoing commitment from our members so we can really get to know each other. This goal is being realized as the membership has settled down and we've developed some rewarding shared history.

We do have turnover, however, and we're always looking for new people to replace those who have to move on. So if you think you'd be a good fit with us, don't hesitate to get in touch!

A bit of history: This book club was started in April 2010 by Barrie, who did a great job getting the club up and running, as well as managing it for the first year of its life. Barrie had to move to another state, and while we were very sad to see her go, she left behind a club that is thriving and becoming better and better. We anticipate reading thought-provoking books for many years to come.
