Meet near the TD ATM inside Dundas Street entrance to the Eaton Centre
Yes you know Japanese ramen but this chain is from Japan. It's Hokkaido Santouka ramen. Nothing hits the spot like nice hot ramen and Japanese beer! lol
Now, I've tried Kenzo, Kinton, Sansoutei, Raijin, Royoji, Momofuku. It's just my personal opinion but Santouka is the best overall and there are couple of good ones in the group for sure. Ramen is made up of soup and men (noodle). The soup base they have is tonkotsu which is a hearty pork based soup. I have taken my Japanese friends here and all of these native Japanese ramen eaters have approved this place as authentic and pretty good! :)
The only down side to this place is that it's small and impossible for large groups to get in since they are busy most of the time. So I'm afraid that I have to limit the group size to 6. Wait list is provided so that you will get in if someone cancels. This restaurant has a strict no seating consideration policy until all members of the group is present so please please be on time. A group of 6 with all parties present will get seated before a group of 6 with only 5 present even if you are waiting longer. We will walk over together a short walk to Dundas E near Church St. We will most likely have to wait for our table as they do not take reservations.
