The Civil War Round Table of the District of Columbia Pages

Welcome to the Civil War Round Table of the District of Columbia!

Our Round Table meets on the second Tuesday of the month from September to June at the Fort Lesley J. McNair Officer’s Club in Washington, D.C., or a location nearby.

Our meetings include dinner (optional, $36) followed by a presentation by a noted author or scholar on a topic related to the U.S. Civil War. We encourage attendance of the presentation only if you can't make dinner happen and do charge $5 to help defray expenses associated with our speaker program.

Everyone is welcome!

The Round Table also sponsors field trips, tours, and other events. Its purpose is to further and stimulate interest in the history of the United States and particularly our Civil War.

Please visit our website to learn about our group and for information about our dinners, speakers, newsletters, events, tours, book reviews, audios of past speakers, history, and membership. Or contact us at with any questions.
