Let's start the summer reading list off with something light and fun. Let's read...

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Seconds before the Earth is demolished to make way for a galactic freeway, Arthur Dent is plucked off the planet by his friend Ford Prefect, a researcher for the revised edition of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy who, for the last fifteen years, has been posing as an out-of-work actor.

Together this dynamic pair begin a journey through space aided by quotes from The Hitchhiker's Guide ("A towel is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have") and a galaxy-full of fellow travelers: Zaphod Beeblebrox--the two-headed, three-armed ex-hippie and totally out-to-lunch president of the galaxy; Trillian, Zaphod's girlfriend (formally Tricia McMillan), whom Arthur tried to pick up at a cocktail party once upon a time zone; Marvin, a paranoid, brilliant, and chronically depressed robot; Veet Voojagig, a former graduate student who is obsessed with the disappearance of all the ballpoint pens he bought over the years.

Note: We are meeting from 10:00 - 12:00 for this discussion. Our regular time of 12:00 - 2:00 was already booked.

Unlucky I'm, the bus does not go to Ranch in Weekends, the stupid thing is that ADA Bus service too do the same thing! Ah, even America looks like Middle East sometimes! If you guys will keep meeting in weekends, I might leave the group because I cannot attend anymore in weekends!

      Sohel,

I'm upset to hear that the bus doesn't run on Saturdays. The public transportation system here is a joke. :(

I don't know that I have any other suggestions, though. We meet in Rancho San Diego on the last Saturday of each month. I'd hate to see you leave and never have met you.

We do meet for dinner during week nights, but we usually don't meet in El Cajon. I try to pick a more centralized location for members who live in other areas of San Diego county.

Again, I'm sorry to hear you can't get to our meetings. I wish I had other alternatives for you, but nothing is coming to mind right now. If I hear of something, I'll certainly let you know.

Annette Computadora I'm sorry I'll not be able to get in Rancho's Library Saturday July 27 because there is no transportations, if it was El Cajon Library Branch I would be able to come. Thanks

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
