Hike the Nuese River at Anderson Point

Hi all,

The weather is cooling and it's time to get out and enjoy the out of doors.  Our first walk of the season will be at Anderson Point.  This area has been greatly expanded with many new trails and opportunities to explore.  I hope you will join us as we hike along the Nuese River.  We will move a a moderate pace, as most of these trails are reasonably flat and many are paved, and explore and interprete all that crosses our path.  These trails do or will shortly go from Anderson Point, all the way the Falls Lake in Raleigh.  Quite a hike if one were to choose to hike it all.  We will be doing about 5 or so total miles and lunch at the Milburnie Dam.  And again we hope to learn all we can as we travel these great new trails.  Bring a lunch and we hope to see some new members and some of our long time friends as well.  Kurt

Remember when everyone was on the bridge and we felt that "sway" at 12:08 PM. That was probably the earthquake from the mid west. Thank you Kurt and Judy for another great outing, and a truly moving experience.
