THE ARDUINO WORKSHOP – A HANDS ON CODING EVENT

ARDUINO WORKSHOP

The second event this spring at The Code Pub – Munich will be an Arduino workshop! We will have an introduction held by Verena Lerch, TCP-member and student in Media Computer Science at the LMU. Verena will show us some basic physics and how you can build the easy hardware prototypes using the Arduino board. You will get introduced to simple ways to control hardware elements by software. We will also determine how to interpret input signals like buttons or touch events as well as get an insight in some inspirational projects done and of course we will try this out. Be prepared for som hands on coding!

Every meetup we invite one of of members to talk about their experiences and what kind of challenges you meet in IT. This evening Maraike Stuffler will share her experiences being an student in IT and talk more about her passion for Hackathons

Hello . One question . Is this meeting also for someone with really basic knowledge in IT ? I am interested in this topic but I didn't study IT or something related.

I've just wrote my shopping list to finally buy all the stuff I need for Roomba programming. The workshop motivated me to get started this weekend. :) Thanks a lot! (Especially Verena for this well-prepared workshop!)

Thanks for this evening. It gave me time to figure out more about making interactive stuff. And, the tip about the serial monitor was golden! It was also fun to see how different people solved the different challenges they had as they built things. All-in-all, a fun evening!
