Do you have a game that you would like to get critical feedback? Would you like an excuse to work on a game with other talented artists, programmers, musicians, designers, and writers?

Come to the new prototype and play workshops and get together with other game developers for an evening workshops event. Play works in progress, show off your game, work with others to add polish to your game, or even lend your talents to other developers. Benefit from working together with other game developers. Pizza or other food will be provided.

I liked it a lot, I'm looking forward to engaging more with the group, and maybe contributing towards a project or two.

Aside from a super simple Unity3D WIP, I don't have any "proposal to bring" is that ok?
I'd still like to come and meet everyone and maybe lend my skills to someone else's plan. Job-hunting too, so I've got some time to work with.

Hi Trane, I think you are the one guy I didn't get to say Hi to. I hope you had a good time!

I had a great time with every one, playing games, talking about other peoples work, and eating pizza.

I've been eyeing the monthly dev meetup but I've not yet attended. Are "walk-ins" welcome, so to speak?

    June 19, 2014

    • Scott

Yes! There are absolutely no requirements for attending other than to RSVP yes. Even that isn't a requirement, it just helps us keep track of who's coming.

Great cause my membership is WAAAY lapsed, and I'd like to attend to see if this is a good fit for me, now that I've refocused my career.

I have a proposal for a new game, so if on-the-spot presentations are allowed, I have one of them to make.

I should also add that we do have presentation in our regular monthly meeting on the first Saturday of the month. Anyone is welcome to present anything they want.

Hi Scott - there's not a real deadline for the presentation. July 5th would work, though I don't know if many people would show up. There isn't much to the presentation, I could show prototypes with a single laptop in the middle of some conversation. I'm tempted to attend more regularly these next two months.
