January GameDev Meetup

With December being the holidays and everything, we're going to skip right into January for the next meet. Join us for games, fun, and discussions at the TechDEC in Dublin. This is two weeks before the Global Game Jam, an annual event that involves sites from all over the world making games in one frantic weekend. If you're itching for some practice, check out Ludum Dare 25, happening on December 14th - 17th.

Reminder, if you haven't been to a meeting in a while, we've changed locations. Here's the details.

565 Metro Place South 3rd floor Dublin Ohio. TechDEC and Metro Data Center share the whole third floor.
sign by the road says TWO Metro Place.
website for them is http://metrodatacenter.com/tech...

NOTE: NEW LOCATION. All the DEC businesses have moved to a new building. The new building has locked doors so please write down my number Alex[masked] so you can call me to let you in or help you if you get lost.

Any questions, directions, or help needed please email

alex at ohi oga me@hotm ail.com.(without the spaces)

Feel free to bring your laptop and stuff to show and tell.

I could go straight from work and get there around 2:30. Would everyone still be around?

Our meetups tend to last til around 4 or 5pm (sometimes later depending on how long people stick around). By 2:30, there should still be plenty of people around for you to meet with.

After months of searching for guidance for my project and feeling like a ship tossed about in a storm I look forward to this meeting in hopes of finding a port that I can call home.

Consider this an Albatross on a fair wind - should you reach your destination you will find a goodly company to walk with.
