What do you like most about creating games?

I like the ability of game developers to fill the gap between reality and imagination with the use of technology :-). And I believe that game development is a roller coaster of all rounders!

How would you describe your level of experience in game development?

At the moment my highest game development technical expertise is on Scirra Construct 2 HTML5 based game engine (https://www.scirra.com/). However I have learned the basics of Unity 3D, jMonkeyEngine and few other game engines. Also currently I am self studying Unity 3D again to improve my 3D mobile game development skills.

Is game creation something you do for fun, or is it more of a professional interest? Please describe.

I always wanted to be a game designer/developer or a researcher. I have self studies game design and game development related technologies from year 2006 and co-founded a Game Development Special Interest Group at my workplace. I have developed few games which I have listed in my linkedin profile at http://lk.linkedin.com/in/rameshmd/ . Also I have conducted several trainings on game development and lead teams of game developers for mini projects. In addition to the technical side, I have involved in creative work as a drama script writer, president scout, cadet, prefect, graphics designer, speaker, poet and active member of many student societies.

What part of game dev are you most into? Programming, animating, AI, 3D modeling, marketing, etc?

Programming (I have done software development as my job for 8 years :-) ), AI ( I did my MSc in AI), Game Design
