It's all about creating a world and seeing it in action, seeing the interactions between game elements and players unfold by the rules and conventions that I helped conceive.
I have four completed projects under my belt, and have a couple of prototypes for larger-scale projects. For many years prior, I studied game design and development by playing, analyzing, and hacking many games, as well as creating numerous tech demos.
I would love to have one of my projects achieve enough success to allow me to focus on game development as a full-time pursuit.
I like designing the mechanics of games, as well as implementing those mechanics in code. I also like to do level design.
I am an experienced software developer who originally got into the trade because of a desire to create games. Over the past four years, I have created and self-published six games under my Smiling Cat Entertainment label.
