I love creating an environment that draws people in and refuses to let them go. Video games are a media that has the chance to make people stop and pause with awe in a way that others media forms can't.
Very limited. The most extensive toolset I've mastered is Halo's Forge editor. I have an extremely limited programming background (just enough to understand structure in java). I'm trying to pick up the UDK and Ive worked with Bethesda's G.E.C.K., but it would be hard to say I'm anything but a beginner in game development.
Game creation is definitely something that I would love to turn into my profession, but I have a long way to go until I could do that. But my limited experience has shown me that designing is something I'm truly interested in.
Level design/using existing game engines to create 3d worlds. I'm beginning to explore modelling and textures as well. Really, I just love the idea of a team coming together to build something one person could never do. Taking an idea and building an entire world from it, a world someone would spend their time living in, that's what I'm really interested in.
Hey, my name is Nolan. I was born in Ohio and was an avid runner since middle school. I went to go run collegiality for one of the best schools in the nation out in Colorado, but moved back to Columbus and OSU to develop my game creation skills.
