Games really move me - I see the artistic appeal of a good game the way a lot of people admire good movies/books. I've felt real joy and sadness while playing games, become attached to characters, and enjoyed the feeling of stepping into the main role. Though I have no experience creating games, I have been a singer and an actress in the past. Putting on a good show for someone; creating something that surprises, moves, entertains them; putting in the hard work in anticipation of what their reaction will be; I suspect there are elements of this in game creation as well. Or did you mean less broadly? I love code, I suppose. It makes no sense, generally I'm a creative type who can't sit still, but when it comes to solving a math problem or trying to write a program, I can get lost in the task, I embrace the trial-and-error of it and I get a little rush when it works.
Beginner - I have a couple of small projects under my belt at this point, but no big group projects or published works yet.

I'm a lifelong gamer...I particularly loved my C64 and interactive fiction games growing up in the '80s. I play all sorts now, but I'm passionate about RPGs. Recent CSCC graduate with a focus on game programming.
