Hello!

This meetup is for Berner (purebred and mixed) owners, and friends (and siblings of all kinds) of Berners!

We try to arrange a mix of activities that cater to the Berner lifestyle of being outside in the mountains, and also just being social. We will provide options for all kinds of companions from serious hikers to easy strollers. We also plan dog park meetups, camping trips, pot-luck parties, and Meetups for local Colorado canine events and fundraisers.

We hope you will consider joining us for each and every Meetup Event - but especially the Furry Scurry in May, the Wag N Trail in September, and the Olde Golden Christmas Parades in December. :)

Please review the RSVP information and other policies page for more details on being a part of the group. You can also edit your email settings to tailor them to your preferences.

We welcome Meetup suggestions - so please let us know if you have an idea for an activity you'd like us all to be a part of.

We hope you will enjoy the time you spend with the group!

Thank you,
Buffy,  Little & Mora

Join us for a morning stroll around this small but very picturesque lake! Plan an hour drive from Denver. Bring snacks and water & prepare for a cool morning. This walk is on-leash. Directions: Take I-70 westbound, Idaho Springs exit #240 - Hwy 103. Go south 14 miles to the intersection of Hwy 103 and Hwy 5 (Mt Evans Road). Turn right on Hwy... Learn more

    Forsberg Park
15900 W Alameda Pkwy, Lakewood, CO (map)
This is a good beginner park - not too big, not too small. I suggest parking in the upper parking lot - turn in where the Forsberg sign is... There is also parking on the side of Alameda, but it's full of pot holes and hard to enter/exit. Bring water and a bowl and some potty bags. There are people bathrooms just up the hill from the dog park. Learn more

Glendale Farm Open Space Dog Park
12300 S Havana St, Castle Rock, CO 80108, Castle Rock, CO (map)
We usually meet up in the dog park and then take a walk around the perimeter. We like this park because it is very large, and gives us and the dogs a bit of exercise! Please bring water/bowl, snacks, and potty bags. Directions: Please note - this park is on the Frontage road between Castle Pines/Castle Rock, and Centennial. From the North -... Learn more

This is a big beautiful 4 season dog park. We walk a 2 mile loop around the open space area, with a visit to the stream along the way.  It can get muddy after a rain storm. The main water fountain has been turned on for the summer. Water is also available for the dogs at the creek. Note: Rangers may be on site and will ticket you if you don't... Learn more

    Evergreen Bark Park
Stagecoach Blvd. , Evergreen, CO (map)
*This is our favorite dog park in Colorado! It fills up very fast in the summer, so hopefully you can make this earlier time... It's also cooler for the pups... Hopefully we'll luck out with a beautiful day. If you haven't been to this dog park - it's a MUST! It's the best one in Colorado! Please wear proper hiking shoes & bring a layer -... Learn more
