This is a wonderful opportunity to get some great life-saving & first aid info - especially if you have a new puppy in your home! The class is done without dogs (the have dummy dogs for CPR).
In this 4-hour class, learn how what you need in a doggie first aid kit, CPR, how to diagnose bloat, basic bandages, safety issues, and more! There are also informative videos, and a short refresher on how to do adult and child CPR.
Hope you can make it! It's really a great class, and the teacher is very good! There is a max of 24 people, so join up quick!
The class is $50 per person, and he is offering an $8 value CPR card for free to us, plus a $5 location fee. The instructor has canine first aid books available for $16.95.
I have rented the clubhouse in our neighborhood, and we will have a Pot Luck before the class. I will provide drinks for everyone. Please bring an appetizer/snack to share.
p.s. Please note this is a people-only event. We will be doing 'first-aid' on stuffed dogs, and CPR dummy dogs. This class will also cover human adult and baby CPR, as well as how to use a defib device. (Wear comfortable clothing - we will have to get on the floor)
Parking: You may need to park on "Watertower Promenade" - it's the one with 4 lanes for parking. The clubhouse is closer to Allison - and is the one that is brick. (Not the one under the watertower.)
