What made you learn American Sign Language?

I had friends in school who were deaf, then I started losing my own hearing in high school. Our daughter was born premature and has some level of difficulty hearing but aren't able to pursue any help for her until we get to Colorado.

What is your experience thus far with ASL?

I've had some classes, some self taught but not fluent.

Introduction

I am a 27 yr old mother of 2 toddlers. I had friends growing up who were deaf and always wanted to be fluent in ASL, I have recently reached a place in my life where I can return to school and aspire to be an Interpreter. I wear a hearing aid myself
