New Host Orgainzer Wanted

Have you ever wanted to be a host for the group? Perhaps you haven't thought about it before or perhaps you were to scared to ask in person? Perhaps you didn't know if your place would be able to host a meeting or perhaps it's not big enough to host a large party and your interested in hosting something smaller but your not sure if that's okay? Well that's what this email is for today I am looking to get more members active within the group with 130 Members now I would like to see more people stepping up to host (though it's not required that you do)

Things to think about if you want to be a host

1: Do you have parking for guests?

2: Can you provide something small for the amount of guests your having? IE Popcorn Candy Soda anything is fine if you have a small to no budget the important thing is doing something small

3: Make sure your comfortable with inviting people to your home

4: If you decide to do this feel free to set some group rules for the guests in your home

5: Have a backup of something to do or watch. In the beginning of the group Matt and I didn't really know what to do so we would play Video games while we waited for members to show up this is still the case today mostly fighters things that people don't have to be good at to enjoy. If you don't have a lot of Anime let Matt and I Know we can help you out with that. To date I think Matt has one of the biggest Collections I have ever seen. If your okay with taking a vote have some of the guests bring their own Anime and Games let the group Vote.

6: Only let it go on as long as your willing to let people be at your home it's your home when the meeting is done and it's time for the guest to leave let them know so make sure to set Start and End Times.

7: If you don't feel safe hosting a meeting at your home because it's new to you Ask Myself or Matt to Join in till you feel comfortable with hosting I always make it a point anyways to sit in on the first meeting with new Hosts to help them with any lose ends they need to tie up.

8: Have fun with the meeting don't get stressed out over hosting it you should be comfortable like inviting friends over for a good time.

With all that being said if you have any questions your comments or want to become a Host send me an email I will get back with you and we will work something out thank you so much.
