Six Week Meditation Class: "Deepen Your Practice" - By Karen Recktenwald.
Date: Thursdays, beginning Feb. 27th, for 6 weeks.
The 6-week class will focus on Deepening Your Practice, whether you're new to meditation or a long time practitioner. It will focus on experiential concentration and mindfulness, being where you are at the moment and accepting it with kindness and compassion, whether on or off the cushion.
It will include strategies from psychology and neuroscience that open the heart and focus the attention, with the emphasis on present moment awareness!
We ask that people try to commit for the 6 weeks, for their own progress and for the group energy.
Suggested $10 donation per class but no one turned away for lack of funds.
