Hi Debbie: The Sat. meditations are on the SECOND and FOURTH Saturdays each month. We had one this past weekend and so the next one is the 27th! Thanks.

Kara: One thing I forgot, is that this week, tomorrow, I will not be leading the meditation but a friend will be doing so in my place. Just didn't want you to expect to see me there. I have a work-related dinner I must attend. Cheers -- David

This is my very first time attempting this, is tjos an appropriate venue for a new comer? Is this only woman or are men ivolved too?

Hi Kara: Yes, we often get newcomers! I lead two 20-minute meditations with some guidance before each, and a few minutes break in between. We've got both chairs and meditation cushions so you can use what you like. And if you get uncomfortable during a "sit," you can feel free to get up and walk outside or something. No problem. The group shifts from week to week in terms of composition. Definitely mixed gender, usually about half and half. Between six and twenty people, depending, usually come. Ages vary from high school to retirees, though I'd say most of the people are 40s and up, older than you seem to be from your adorable photo! But it's a very warm and welcoming group. I teach at Colorado College, and sometimes my students from there come as well. Feel free to ask anything more. Best, -- David

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
