Mindfulness for Dementia Caregivers

This four-week class will provide an opportunity to learn about the value of mindfulness, when used by care partners to:
· reduce stress
· become less reactive
· increase flexibility and resilience
· support your well-being
· help you enjoy being in the moment with your loved one (whichhelps them feel more at ease being with you)
Instructor: Cyndy Noel, M.A.Cyndy has taught the 8-week Mindfulness-BasedStress Reduction Program (MBSR) developed byJon Kabat-Zinn, PhD. and finds the practice invaluablein caring for her husband who has Alzheimer's.
